Litigation Paralegal
Teresa is a litigation paralegal at NPL&M, serving
and assisting the attorneys of the firm in the preparation,
prosecution, and/or defense of their clients’ interests.
Possessing an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies,
Teresa’s knowledge and skills encompass over fifteen
years of experience in the legal community. Her litigation
support spans a wide variety of tasks, from the preparation
and filing of documents in state and federal courts and
managing discovery, to assisting attorneys by accompanying
them at trial. Throughout the discovery process of each
case, Teresa is responsible for the electronic formatting
of documents in conjunction with the firm’s litigation
support database software.
Teresa is a Notary Public in and for the State of Ohio,
an associate member of the Columbus Bar Association,
and she is a member of the Paralegal Association of Central
Ohio (“PACO”). She serves as the Chairperson of PACO’s
Pro Bono Committee, and is actively involved in conducting
a free legal clinic each month. She also supports paralegal
education and presents at student-held association meetings
regarding the paralegal profession.
